BYU vs Airforce! GO BYU GO!!!

Thanks to our friends the Pollary's we were able to score some awesome seats to the BYU/Airforce game this past Saturday. The Boys were so exited to go to a real football game. Then sitting 10 rows back they were in heaven. Lucky for us it turned out to be alright weather for the 15th of November. Also we were sitting on the right side of the stadium and didn't loose the sun till 4th quarter. The kids loved watch the Airforce cadets parachute onto the field. Being close enough to see Cosmo and the cheerleaders. The had a great time! It was an awesome game with BYU winning 38-24! Go BYU!!!

Our Newest Addition!!!

Last week Jason took the kids in the pet store and they found the cutest little puppy. Then mean Mom said we aren't getting another puppy remember what happened last time? The boys including Jason proceeding to whine about wanting a puppy all week. Aaron even asked if Santa could bring a puppy if he asked. So yesterday we found ourselves at the mall getting Aaron's glasses fixed and they sucked me in. The one Jason liked from the previous week was gone but sure enough there was two other cute ones marked down like crazy because they were getting old at 5 months. So home came our new little puppy Chewie! Named after Chewbacca not because he is a chewer. He is a long red haired Dachshund. He is super cuddly and so very scared of the boys. I mean look and those crazy boys who wouldn't be. I'm now just hoping that he will potty train easily and that he will be a good new addition to our family! Dylan thinks we got him to watch TV with him. He always want him in his lap.

Happy Halloween!!!

Halloween started for us on the 30th with the Church Halloween carnival. We had a Yellow Ninja, Jack Sparrow and Buzz Lightyear! The kids got to play games, go on a cake walk and then go trunk or treating in the parking lot. It was beautiful weather for once in our life's. Usually it's 20 degrees with snow or sleet or ice and sometimes all of the above. But today the high hit like 68 so come night fall it was actually warm. For the first time ever we wore costumes without coats and truck or treated without running through the parking lot in record time. The kids had fun seeing all their friends and came home with huge bags of candy and Halloween had not even really started. Lucky Kids! The next morning the kids wore their costumes to school for the Halloween parties. I took Dylan trick or Treating at Walmart with a group of girls in my ward.(Bag of Candy #2) Then it was off to his party at My Gym. We then headed to the school to help with the older boys school parties. One big day of many parties and junk food and the official trick or treating hadn't even started. That evening Dad stayed home and passed out the candy while I took the boys around the neighborhood with Dylan's friend Alex. This was the first year that any of them actually went door to door. How sad Aaron's is 8! But usually it's the neighbor's then home because it's too cold. We had a lot of fun! Now on with November! Where does the time go!

Our Baby Turning 3!!!!

I guess we shouldn't call him a baby any more. But he is my baby. Dylan had a very eventful birthday. He first got to go to his My Gym class. He got to use the zip line for the first time and was very excited. Next he had his Birthday Party at the mall. He had 3 of his favorite friends come Jared , Halle and Cassidy. They all got Happy Meals from McDonald's and had lunch together. We had cupcakes and opened presents. Halle gave him a Diego Dinosaur glider, Jared a Walle dish set and Cassidy a Transformer. Next it was off to Build a Bear. The two boys picked out Monkeys and the two girls picked Bunnys. They had a lot of fun stuffing, brushing and dressing their animals. Since it was a Monday afternoon there was no one there. They had the whole store to themselves. Hugs where given and on the day went. We waited till the big boys got home form school and then we went to Target so Dylan could use his birthday money from Grandma Nancy. He picked out a Cars spiral raceway and 2 new cars that we had been looking for Chucki and Kathy Copter. Then it was off to Chucky Cheese for the final celebration of the day. His friend Alex came from across the street since she couldn't make it to Build a Bear. They had so much fun riding the rides and playing games. He got a Baby Jaguar stuffed animal from Aaron and Landon and a Diego Rescue Center from Mom and Dad! At the end of the day Dylan said this is the best day ever can it be my birthday tomorrow again! Nice try buddy but you'll have to wait another year! Happy 3rd Birthday!!!!

Disneyland We miss you already!

The Kids had 2 weeks off for Fall Break so we went to California with our good friends the Hoffman's. We had so much fun! We left on Saturday October 4th for Sunny L.A. With friends to occupy the kids and 4 adults the plane ride was a breeze. We were going to go to Disneyland on our 1st day but thanks to Miley Cyrus 16th Birthday Party they were closing early so we headed to Universal Studio's. It was a beautiful day and we got to see a lot of neat things. Landon's favorite ride was the Simpson's which was a pretty cool simulated roller coaster. Aaron liked the Mummy which was an inside roller coaster mostly in the dark that shot you forwards then backwards. Dylan, Halle and Jaxon were too little to ride most of the rides but loved the ball playground.

The next morning we were off to Disneyland! We went straight to the Nemo ride. All Dylan cared about was seeing Nemo. We spent the day hanging out with Grandma Robin and Aunt Kristen. The kids loved all the rides and we had a wonderful time. Landon was so happy that he could go on Space Mountain. He even got to ride on Indian Jones with the help of his mom rolling up some socks and stuffing them in his shoes! He was only really like a 1/4 maybe a 1/2 inch off what would be the harm! It was probably good that Dylan was not tall enough to ride the bigger rides. He was scared of the Matterhorn. But sure got a lot of rides on Winnie the Pooh!

The next day we spent at California Adventures. The kids had now all gotten the hang of the lines and the rides and had a great day. Aaron loved the California Screaming Roller Coaster. It was his first ever with a loop. We all loved the new Toy Story Mania Ride! We spent the day with Jeff, Karen and the kids so all was happy with a riding buddy! Jason and Jeff had fun talking pictures of themselves doing silly things!

We our last day in L.A back at Disneyland! We started the morning with Breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen. The food was great even though I doubt I ate $26 worth of it! But Hey what is vacation for! Dylan was actually not scared of the characters which was wonderful. The kids had Hot Dogs and Cake for breakfast but Hey we were living it up! We had a great day even with the record breaking heat of 97. The lines were all pretty short and we got a ton of rides in. The boys probably rode Space Mountain 6 times, Thunder Mountain 4 times and Splash Mountain 3 times. Farewell to Disney again for another year or two!

Thursday morning we headed to the beach! of course after 3 days of 9o degree weather it was overcast and 70 for the beach. The kids had a blast! They all love the beach. No one is scared of the water so it was great. The kids built castles and towers. Halle and Dylan ran to and from the water for hours filling up their buckets. Jaxon was content to wander happy to be out of the stroller! Karen and I got to spend a majority of the time sitting and enjoying watching the kids. We left the water play to the Dad's! After 4 hours of bliss we headed to the car for the drive to San Diego!

The weather was nice and cool in San Diego. Friday morning we went to Sea World. The kids loved running around and seeing all the animals. They did wonder where all the rides were (go figure) But after figuring out there weren't any they had a blast. As the day ended it was hard to believe that in the morning our trip would be ending. Saturday before we headed back to the airport. We took the kids to La Jolla to Seal Beach. The kids loved seeing all the seals right there on the beach. it was too cold for the water plus the trip home with sand would not be fun! Off the the airport we go. Back to freezing cold Colorado. Farewell to California for another year or two!!! Thanks for the fun Grandma, Kristen and the Hoffman's!!!!
